At this time in the school year I'm more concerned with simply passing my classes with a GPA above 3.0 more than anything else after being dropped from a class for a reason I thought wasn't necessarily fair. I had to enter a new class in the middle of the school year but thanks to my councilor all I have to do in that class is finish semester B then next year I'll finish semester A then when I'm done with the class I just replace it with a TA period. As for my other classes I don't find any of them that difficult except Algebra 2 and AP English math isn't my strong suit and I've never been good at it but I need to finish this class. AP English the work isn't hard since I'm fairly decent at English work but the tests that we're taking are at college level and having taken the mock AP exam I don't feel that confident about my passing the test I might but I'm not entirely sure. As for my other classes History I’m doing alright in that class I’m passing and I don’t find the work that difficult I guess that’s a good thing since I’m planning on possibly becoming a history teacher in the future. My overall plan for this year is too pass my classes and get a few level fours here and there I’m hoping for the small chance of being able to finish my video editing class so next year I can take multimedia in multimedia you get access to equipment that’s so much better than what we are given in video editing for example next year I could use the drone and make my own videos using that.
In intro to food services the class itself should be fairly easy, but the way the learning facilitator chooses to teach on certain days can make some things difficult usually when we are cooking we are left with 15 minutes to cook and meal that takes about 20 minutes to make plus the clean up most of the classes aside from our 5th period class usually have to stay in class after the bell rings either finishing the food or cleaning up sometimes both. Aside from my classes everything else this year has been alright the rallies were pretty fun to see and the food days were good despite the lack of some soda brands. Also recently I found out that I’m going to take another practice AP exam so depending on how I do on that I’ll be able to see if I’m prepared enough to take the real exam. I’ll be going to a job shadow sometime soon I already set everything up with a US History teacher in Red Wood High School on Wednesday 16 the week before spring break I’ll be going to Visalia and see how US History teachers operate in other schools and I can see if this is the field of work that I want to go into.
